Sala stared at him. Sean stared back.

The standoff lasted all of sixty seconds before a broad grin cut across Sala’s face.

“You’re some nasty motherf**ker, you know that?”

Sean shrugged with fake nonchalance. “Of course.”

As you can probably see, I got the final three parts finished today. Someone kidnapped my kids and took them away for a weekend of fun and frolic up in the bush somewhere. So it was just me . . . three dogs, eight cats and a plot bunny.

Thanks to everyone who commented on this and for how nice the comments have been. I was a little weirded out by the idea of AU, which is kind of like this strange cross between original fiction and fan fiction. But it was fun...and surprisingly easy. But then, so am I. Easy, that is. *g*
