I suppose you could say that I'm hunting down plot bunnies if you want this post to be on-topic but . . .

I was just reading an online article about Viggo M. and it said something about the MTV awards and about him doing something on stage involving Peter Jackson and a rather large pointy sword.

It's the first I've heard of it; can someone clarify, explain, de-baffle me??

During last year's MTV Movie Awards, Peter Jackson recorded some acceptance speeches for the various awards TTT won (that included the "Gollum diva" video). They were doing RotK reshoots, so Viggo and Bernard Hill were on the video. IIRC, Viggo and Bernard sneaked up behind PJ with their swords drawn. That's about all I remember.

P.J. was going on about how Viggo was real bad at the fighting scenes and he had to stand in and be a stunt double for Viggo and Bernard and he was just joking with all this stuff and then Viggo and Bernard came round from behind some tents and P.J. kinda of backed away going "Oh hi guys, just saying how great u both were in Helms Deep and stuff..." and then he went running away and Viggo and Bernard both drew their swords and B.H. went "let this be the hour we draw our swrods together" and then V.M said something like "lets kick the crap outta him" and they both went running after him, v amusing! yeah it was recorded on the filiming of ROTK! Hope that helps you!
