‘Curse’

Curse
There are many reasons but he cannot decide which invited it.
That he chooses to obliterate himself within the flesh of men, and he will not surrender that pleasure. That he has broken vows and hearts.
That he does not regret.
It is evidenced in so many ways. He speaks many languages but is fluent in none. He embodies the frustrated artist.
He is incapable of expression yet he is believed eloquent.
A lithe body contorts around him. He stares into green eyes that look at him in despair. He hears a whispered sigh, a muttered word.
‘Damn.’
He shatters.
