Based on this picture:

The Unopened Box
The gift giving season had come and gone – the ”what did you give?” and ”what did you get?” questions long since asked and answered.
But one unopened box remained. No red, green or gold wrapping like most Christmas gifts, and neither, strangely, could recall who’d given it.
But curiosity always wins . . .
Once opened, inside was a single sheet of paper:
”Who can tell what this year may bring forth?
Be reminded, once more, that a person’s value doesn’t determine love,
Rather, love determines their value”.
Each smiled at the other with shining eyes.
“Happy New Year”.
“Aye, Happy New Year”.
