Knocking at the Door

Thinking back, we actually came blundering into each other’s presence and there were quite a few times when opportunities for friendship, respect, love . . . knocked on the doors of our hearts, but we never opened them and the opportunities walked away.

But now the knocking has ceased and the doors have been opened wide enough to receive every kind of love, on every kind of level and we know for sure they will never close again.

Every door to every room in our home mirrors the gateways opened in our hearts and love will never walk away again.

~End~

The language here reflects a simple truth reached after the steps forward and back, the blind alleys and winding paths of their relationship, with at the last a steady, plain, rhythm that reinforces the meaning. thanks for sharing.

Beautiful. It makes me feel so happy, that it turned after the first segment - to think how differently it could have ended if they had never opened those doors. Thank you :)
