Author’s Note 1
I wanted to use the gorgeous picture given for this month’s challenge as well as saying just a few words encompassing the recent developments in Sean’s life. It really is a ‘challenge’ to tell such a story in only 100 words, but I hope you’ll understand my tribute to the VigBean world.

Author’s Note 2
Romantic that I am, I was also inspired by a video recently posted by [livejournal.com profile] anorienparker which you can see here:

On to the picture and the Drabble . . .

I Know Him So Well

His tears need to end, and the woodland path is a favourite, familiar, private one that meanders along in the same way as our thoughts and words. I want to calm him, reassure him, and let him know . . . well, what he already does. That I know him so well.

My love for him is as timeless as the changing seasons along this path. The freedom we’ve sought to love without restraint is ours for the taking now, but the words don’t come, so we walk, silent, yet understanding, sharing the moment. The first moment of the rest of our lives.

~End~

Your very welcome. No matter how hard I try I can never stop at a 100 words. *hugs* You really met that challenge head on.

The picture is a splendid prompt, not only because the colours are rich and the road may wind, but it is clear and flat, but the trees aren't solid...it is possible to glimpse something light, hopeful, ahead through the trunks, if one will only follow the road. Your characters are taking their first steps towards what may turn out to be light and hope too. Very atmospheric.
