Reflections

Still waters, we are told, run deep. But, thought Viggo, gazing at the gifts under the tree, they can also reflect.

Much like love.

Once the euphoria of tearing off the wrapping and discovering the gift dims, we truly begin to see what’s inside the shiny package. Reflect on each new day, each new mood, as we look deeper beneath the surface.

Where we discover untold riches and something worth getting excited about.

And there was Sean, standing in the doorway, grinning, pointedly looking up at the sprig of mistletoe.

Yes, untold riches and definitely something worth getting excited about.

There is charm and warmth arising out of self-knowledge under-pinning your Viggo's reflections and although his love only appears at the end of the scene, in truth his presence runs throughout.
