Mailing list query

Would people here be interested in a Yahoogroup just for this community, so that you don't have to wade through all the other stuff on CTB and LOTR_RPS? Or do so many people read those anyway that a Rugbytackle group would be redundant and just one more thing filling up your inboxes?

Please leave comments or e-mail me. I'm going out of town and was thinking how nice it would be if there was a group where all the SB/VM stuff would get mailed to me...

I would definitely be interested, the CTB list is fine as a general one but I'm always deleting hobbit fic posts so having a SB/VM one would make things easier. Maybe it could in some way be connected to milochka SB/VM website project?

Having a group solely for Viggo/Sean? i think that's pretty fantastic. I never bothered to go back more than 5 posts at CTB or the other one, so i think this is a good idea.

But i worry that people would only post at the yahoo group, making this LJ redundant... erm... that's just my view anyway, coz i prefer LJ as compared to a yahoo group.

I wouldn't mind having a mailing list in addition to rugbytackle. Who knows, some new people might join and post new fics, yeah? I know that not every RPSer has an LJ.

I would join this. I am not fond of the other groups at all, I think I lasted roughly two days in each before I got so completely irritated that I had to sign off before I started flaming people left and right.

OTOH, I do like this format, I like the LJ community's setup. I do hope that having a mailing list wouldn't kill the board, you know?
