Showing Up

Someone once said “Seventy per cent of success in life is showing up”.

Well, thought Viggo, he had shown up – shown up to every film opening, premier, photo opportunity, red carpet event, cinema showing and signing that was going. His face had been photographed a thousand times, from a thousand different angles, shown on a thousand different screens. People thought they knew him; people thought they owned him.

But away from the celluloid and popcorn, the flashbulbs and interviews, only one person really knew him, really owned him. And Sean could be relied on never to confuse persona with person.
