Based on this picture:

The Rainbow Arch

The rainbow fish – Viggo had never seen them up close before this trip but now he couldn’t get them out of his mind – poetry and paintings and music were pouring out of him.

As he reflected on rainbows, he realised Sean was his pot of gold – for the way all broken purposes and disappointed hopes could be made perfect by watching a rainbow arch. The way clouds of sadness could be made to disappear by watching a glorious sunset together.

Sean took away his night and made it day, took away anything broken and imperfect and turned dreams into reality.

~End~

It's a pretty picture and even a prettier picture you paint with words! Lovely answer to the prompt.

That's a lovely metaphor and a beautiful drabble.

A charming and tender moment in your character's life, when he realises something great and profound because of many little, perfect, fish.
