Harry’s Place

Viggo never considered himself jealous and it’s profoundly stupid to be jealous of a hammer. But this is Sean’s hammer and it’s obvious by the way he handles it that their relationship is special.

Sean calls it Harry; sometimes whispers its name while he’s working. Viggo wonders whether the hammer is excited to be in those hands? Does it adore Sean as much as Viggo does? It must certainly be aware of its importance in his life.

Viggo knows, though, that eventually it will wear out, another will replace it, while Viggo is now, and will remain, at Sean’s side.
