This is your anonymous commenter again! (By the way sorry if my being anonymous causes any trouble to whoever has to give approval to my messages! I don't mean to give anyone extra work!)

I was just released from the hospital after a couple of weeks and I could not wait to get out and read all I had missed! Now these past chapters were absolutely brilliant but I'm left here desperate! I want more! I can't wait for Harry to finally get caught (I'm totally not violent in real life, almost a hippy really, but I wouldn't mind him dying a painful death in the process...), and for our boys to be reunited. I have everything planned out for them: Viggo marries Charlotte and Sean marries Grace, they all move in together as it would be admissible for siblings, and then they can do whatever they like! How could the neighbours know of their bed-sharing arrangements at the end of the day ;-) And they could live happily ever after because OMG do they deserve it!

Anyway, this was brilliant as usual, still incredibly well-written and documented (I don't know much about this era in particular, and nothing at all about mining and miners apart from what I read in Zola, yet I can totally picture everything. You must have done a lot of research there - that or you're a very old persn who actually witnessed all this lol)
I only have one little question: after you've posted all the chapters will the full story be available somewhere? So it can be read in one go?
Oh and make it 2 little questions: do you have more stories online somewhere? So I can keep myself busy until next chapter instead of anxiously biting at my fingernails?

I hope you're feeling better! I'm going through chemotherapy so I can empathize with you. *hug* I'm so glad you're enjoying the story and are engaged with it. There will be more soon, I promise. We'll see what happens with Sean and Viggo [and Grace and Charlotte too]. Thanks so much for the compliments. I did do a lot of research, and it was fun.
I was born in the part of the country I'm writing about, so it was a fun excuse to go home and hang out in the local library. :) I read Germinal too!
