I can not even begin to articulate why - fuck, I can't even begin to wrap my *brain* around why - but this story? Made me cry. Little shaky sobs and fat hot tears running down my face. So, ah... wow. I don't understand, but wow.

I think it was the frustration of Viggo, and the abuse (in my eyes) of Sean, and how Karl managed to ruin what COULD have been love by tainting it for Viggo, telling him what a slut Sean is, and tempting him into using Sean himself.

I don't mean this as a criticism, Helen, but I didn't find this sexy... I only found it really heartbreaking.

Ooh, and that's all very, very interesting. Because my thoughts on it definitely aren't a "they were so close and almost made it" sort of thing... but then, that would be telling. *grin.*

Still, whether you found it sexy or heartbreaking, the fact that it earned this much of a reaction just stuns me. I'm glad. :)

Wow, this is amazing.

You sculpted such a terrific characterization of Viggo. It all feels so very real and palpable -- the emotions, the anger, the fight for control inside oneself, and the irrationality of things you do when you're "under the influence" of mild (or not so mild) obsession. Just fantastic.
