rugbytackle, Green Opals, anyone else that wants it. Just let me know.
Notes: Sort of a sequel to my previous double-drabble, Aviophobia. It's taken me forever to get to this and I'm still not too sure about this one, but here it is. Probably will have more to follow, eventually.
Sean underestimated Viggo.
He had intended reality to douse fantasy in his single surrender to Viggo.
Instead, an all-consuming conflagration sparked, flesh became ash, heat pounded past carefully-wrought barriers, cracks snaked through smoke-choked reason.
Blind in the wake of one night's inferno Sean no longer could guard against the freefall Viggo offered.
Fear conquered fear and he took flight to find solid ground.
Arrow in a broken compass, the polarity of his anger swung wildly between himself and Viggo, leaving Sean helpless to navigate this starless, night-dark frontier.
Alone in his own country Sean found himself dreaming of foreign fire.

Date: 2003-07-22 12:24 pm (UTC)Sean definitely needs his feet under him. Poor man doesn't do unsettled well. And Viggo's the very definition of it.
