Notes: Forgot to crosspost here. Technically, no mention of VigBean here, but, as you can tell from the format, it was my first attempt at continuing Aviophobia. Didn't really go where I planned it, though it seems to stand well on its own.
Sean wasn't a risk-taker.
He had been years ago, youthful energy so overwhelming he'd had to bleed it off in long reckless stripes for fear of bursting from the pressure.
Too much anger, vigor and Sean's release, his fights, words, fucks came harder, rougher, faster.
In younger years caution played no role in his brash performances, waited in the wings instead, ready with forgotten lines, a hand if he stumbled, offerings he usually ignored.
Nowadays the chances he took left only shallow cuts, blood washed away easily under the tap, no balm or bandages required.
Sean needed no more scars.
