“How much farther, Viggo?”

“Not far now- just over that hill.”

Sean shook his head. Only for Viggo would he be willing to get up before dawn to walk what seemed to be halfway across New Zealand to see something that Viggo insisted he couldn’t live without.

It was nearly dawn when they reached the hill; pale pink light was starting to illuminate the east. At the top, Viggo paused and looked to Sean.

“Here. Watch.”

As Sean watched the sunrise with Viggo’s arms about his shoulders, he decided that this brief moment was worth a lifetime of long walks.

Awww that's lovely. I'm rather partial to sunrises myself (like climbing Helvellyn on midsummer's eve to watch sunrise - absolutely fantastic. This is just so real - it's the kind of thing Viggo would do and Sean of course would be right there with him complaining at first but .... Thanks for this *g*

H :)
