Predator/Prey
Aug. 29th, 2003 11:02 pmTitle: Predator/Prey
Author: Raederle
Pairing: VM/SB
Rating: G
Feedback: Yes!
Summary: Like a hunter
Disclaimer: Made up. I promise.
Notes: I've been reading stuff here for a while now, so I decided to jump in. I wasn't going to post this until I got it cleaned up some, but I can't figure out this HTML stuff. Like how to put a link in. Never had to mess with this before. Can someone help?!
Sean sits and watches Viggo rehearsing sword moves with the stuntmen. He thinks he has never seen anyone as smooth with a blade as Viggo. Even with all his experience playing Sharpe, Sean himself cannot match the American's skill. Viggo is like some fabled predator, graceful but lethal. Like a large, sleek cat somewhere in the forests of the night.
And Sean is the prey. The mere scent of the other man is enough to terrify him and he looks for somewhere to hide. But like all prey, he is caught, trapped in the fierce blue gaze of the hunter.

Don't worry about not knowing about HTML - I was useless at first and was forever getting things wrong. You need to post your drabbles or fics behind what's called an "lj-cut" in order to save space on the main page. When you post, you should format it like you have but then put
[lj-cut]
... add your story text ... and then
[/lj-cut]
(Just replace the [] brackets with <> brackets.)
Also check out the LJ FAQ pages. When you are more confident with it, it's best to use one of the software options to post info - look at the download section.
I hope this helps - Have friended you - and welcome, again!

Hope you don't mind the question, has the name got anything to do with McKillip's Harpist books?
Friended you

Date: 2003-08-30 07:26 pm (UTC)The Harpist trilogy is one of the books I'd be taking on the classic deserted island. It's so absolutely brilliant.. you just got me wondering if anyone ever wrote Morgon/Deth slash, or Morgon/Astrin..
Any question re tags and crossposting and such just ask :)
