Oh dear. An RPS ethics crisis. Now I feel bad I'm not having one too. Why have I become so morally callous?
(Tries to think about stuff I don't read or write - no non-con, no use of people's families, no death - although this is more out of a sense that it's often a sign of desperation - no blood stuff, no artificially-aging under-age chars... Decide I am in a moral muddle.)

This was an excellent story, incidentally.

Oh, goody, next time I have an RPS ethics crisis, I shall send it to you instead! Then you can feel less morally callous and I can read my favorite porn without annoying second thoughts. I don't read or write anything on your list plus a host of other things, but of course that's just my subjective sense of what's acceptable; I thought maybe I should leave all sex off the page but then I could angst even over implied attraction and it gets silly.

Maybe I need to write incredibly awful badfic and get it out of my system (Viggo has passionate sex with NotGay!Bean while his entire family watches, is devastated when Bean leaves him for a Spice Girl, gets raped by evil wizard in hallucinatory LOTR crossover dream sequence, gets pregnant, tries to kill himself, is cured by doing illegal drugs, marries Orlando in white tulle wedding dress with flowers and lots of sobbing and cutesy nicknames, honeymoon in NZ with brief detour to Graceland because I love Elvis so they must too, 3.5 babies godfathered by Elijah and named Samantha, Sonia, Viggo Jr. and Brego who dies tragically of having been magically conceived, lives happily ever after until kinky affair with Ewan McGregor nearly breaks them up but that's the sequel epic...)

That IS an excellent story, isn't it? I knew I would not be the only one who enjoyed it.
