Warning, psychosis ahead

Was ordered to crosspost this here -- a truly dreadful faux intellectual reading of "Communion" which may actually be worse than the poem itself, and that's saying something:

This is why I dropped out of grad school 3/4 of the way to a Ph.D.!

And I'm locking the hell out of that post in 48 hours lest someone doing research on the illustrious poetry of the esteemed Mr. Mortensen should stumble upon it and think it's serious. (You know that some high school girl somewhere in America is working on such a paper even as I type this...)

Oh goodie... I was too rushed yesterday to do it justice, this is tooo enjoyable.
I wonder what Mr. Mortensen himself would make of it. Careful dearie he might join in and friend you just to be able to re-read it *g* I would if I were him ;)

I am sure that if Mr. Mortensen had read this, I would have heard from both his lawyer and his literary agent by now. Oh wait...he doesn't need an agent if he publishes his own stuff, does he. Hey, I will simply send him a bunch of academic RPS literary analysis purporting to prove that Byron banged Shelley and Djuna Barnes had an affair with Jane Heap, and flash my degrees at him...
