Several times since Rugbytackle was created, people have asked me whether I could give them LJ codes so they could participate -- and in a couple of cases I have written to excellent writers begging them to let me give them LJ codes so they could participate. Yesterday I posted a plea in my own LJ for more codes, and many, many generous people came through with them.

So now I am seeking those wannabe Rugbytacklers I had to blow off earlier this month. Still got an Aragorn/Boromir story but no place to post it? Want to gossip about Sean and Viggo but feel embarrassed to be posting anonymously? This is your chance!

Just leave a comment to this entry with a way for us to get in touch with you. (If you'd rather write to me privately, you can find my e-mail address via my userinfo.) But there is, of course, a price for an LJ code. Once you have an LJ, we will hound you for fic or drabbles or artwork or whatever form of participation you wish to offer. *g*


I know that some people are afraid to post fic in public because they're afraid it has errors -- thematic, grammatical or factual. So I was thinking it would be nice if we could get a list of people willing to beta read other people's Rugbytackle stories, like other communities have. If you're willing to beta, would you leave a comment or drop me a note? (And yes, I know I owe at least three of you betas -- ribby, viva_gloria, alexabond, I have not forgotten any of you! I love you! *hugs*)

And since I've typed for this long I am including a somewhat off-topic pimp: witheronthevine, a Prophecy community. Yeah, it's mostly Viggolicious, but there's been enough wonderful Lucifer-Macbeth and Lucifer-Boromir crossover stuff that I figure it's worth noting here.

I would be very happy indeed to be on the recieving end.
I'm a Dane, so you'll get a short-cut to all those Danish terms you find yourself lacking (such as : "Åh ja, JA, knep mig Sean" ) and I do believe that there's some RPS just waiting to happen. My fics tend to lurk about in the dark parts of my mind and then suddenly spring to life fully formed.
