I really suck at summaries... First in a series of drabbles based on Nine Inch Nail’s Eraser (lyrics can be found here)

Need you
You walk across our trailer, dropping parts of your costume as you go. Cloak, sword, boots, pants... All fall to the floor where props and wardrobe girls will find them later. I keep my back turned, furtively watching you through the small square of mirror that I’ve kept uncovered. I witness golden skin being revealed, its perfection painted with dark bruises, souvenirs from weeks of shooting.
I watch you pull on a pair of jeans and hear your groan when you stand up. Then I leave the room, leave you to finish in privacy, and drive to my lonely house.
