Arwen.

My sister's eyes would sorrow when we were younger. A day when pale light passed through the trees of Lothlorien; Elrohir, Arwen, and I frisking ‘neath those wide boughs, our laughter filling the air.

A cry, a snapping, a clumsy twist of wings on the earth. A falcon had fallen, broken it’s wing somehow. Lie dying slow.

And I remember how her face sorrowed, eyes raining tears like jewels falling on niphredil. How it made me ache from the pit of my chest.

Arwen.

I do not want to bear witness when she learns of Aragorn and his Boromir.
