I gaze down on his golden head as it lies upon my chest. Still sleeping, his gentle breaths float across my skin, caressing me, as his lips had the night before. A small sigh escape his throat and he nuzzles closer to me. I smile, the action is endearing, childlike, and my arm moves protectively around him.

So different from the animal passion of yesterday. But to me, somehow, this is what I want more. The two of us, lying here, never wanting to move, comfortable together, our bodies intertwined, each wrapped around the other, sharing our warmth, our love.
