FIC CHALLENGE: Lipograms
Jun. 9th, 2004 09:00 pmGreat job on the Pangram Challenge, folks! Though I neglected to mention that the object of the challenge is actually to make your pangram as short as possible. My bad -- sorry about that.
Continuing on with word fun, this next challenge is about lipograms.
A lipogram is a piece of writing that purposely omits a particular letter of the alphabet. For example, an entire sentence or paragraph that doesn't use the letter E.
Challenge: Write an entire drabble -- exactly 100 words -- without once using the letter R (in honour of "rugbytackle") for the VigBean pairing, or without the letter L for the AraBoro pairing. (If you write a crossover, feel free to choose B or G instead. *g*)
Good luck! *cackles wildly*

And know you well what power you wield over us.
And us helpless but to follow.
