Hope and Despair
Aug. 4th, 2004 10:15 pmMy second post this day. No, I didn't overcome my laziness, I just want to find a way to distract you from the fact, that I still struggle with the series I was planning...
Title: Hope and Despair
Author: Sadness1986
Author's Email: Gunmaiden@gmx.net
Pairings: Aragorn/Boromir
Rating: NC-17
Summary: There's no hope in despair.
"There is still hope left", Aragorn insisted, his voice small and soft in Lorien's silence, "I'm Estel, I'm hope here with you."
The Gondorian just smiled sadly and replied: "But you're not mine."
Lowering his gaze, Isildur's heir whispered almost inaudible: "Tonight I am."
Glowing green orbs rested their gaze on his chiselled cheekbones, missing his eyes in their shadows. Boromir asks: "And tomorrow?" Aragorn doesn't see hope gleaming in emerald eyes, that quickly fades away as he answers: "There will be no tomorrow for us."
Green fires choke as trembling hands reach out to touch beauty, heart breaking, leaving a dull pain spreading between all the other injuries.
His soon to be king was unexpectedly shy, nervous, so submissive. Eyes closed, his unresisting frame unaffected by the tenderness of sword callused hands undressing him, uncaring about a heavy body covering his. He's far away, far away from the caressing lips and hands.
Just wincing at the final careful invasion into his body, his hand clutching the Evenstar, till it draws blood from his palm.
So distant as Boromir gently trusts into his tight heat, gasping, staring wide-eyed down on him, looking for the slightest bit of responsiveness and finding none.
He could also have jumped Isildur's own rotten bones instead, for Aragorn himself reduced his body to a unyielding corpse, offering it for hope, but all Boromir could find in him was despair.
He longed for his king's love, not for his body, he craved for a smile, a tender word, but if that physical act was everything, he could get, he wouldn't say no.
