Ficlet: Good Men

Disclaimer: totally and utterly fictional.

A/N: I've read about Maria Bello working with Sean in "The Dark", and now she's going to be working with Viggo in "HoV". And this just pops out on my mind.  It's my first fic ever, and English is not my mother language, so be kind, please.

         She stood in the hotel lobby, watching the two old friends greet each other. And now she understood.

*Few months ago, Isle of Man*

    "I'm sorry. I'm with someone". Short and clear, like everything was with Bean. She never got to know who the lucky one in Sean Bean's life was.

And now, she would notice the subtle way in that the hands lasted a second longer that would do in another case, the way that two pairs of eyes would look into each other, and hold a complete conversation telling of how much missed the other was,in a second. The way smiling mouths told of promises of never-ending kisses, and laughs that told of the happiness of the reunion of the two halves of the same soul.

*Two days ago, Toronto*

   "I'm honored, truly I'm, but I'm in a relationship with someone that is everything for me". She wondered who they'd be, and why all the good men were taken lately.

     And now she understands, and she's happy for them. They are good men, and they deserved each other.

Thanks, it's good to read so nice words. And for it being the last... it took me months to gather the courage to write something to post it, so I don't think I'm going to be an usual writer here ;-)

English is not my native tongue either (German is)and do not ask how long it took me to write my first fic (and it was not even RPS, just FPS). And then I wrote another and another and now I am at nine fics (the last 11 pages long) and am writing my first series. You don't have to produce six chapters à twenty pages in a week, just keep going slowly and steadily. What helps, too, is getting a beta who can help you with the story as well as proofread it. It helped me a lot. Please, don't misunderstand me: your English is great! And you will see, those boy never let go once they have got you :) Good luck *crosses fingers*

Thanks!! The problem is that I got ideas, but I'm not able to write down what I want to tell. I supposse that's the problem when you're writing in a language that's not your mother tongue.*sigh*

Aw! That was short but just too sweet! Loved the premise and the imagery. I know that it's not easy to write in English when it's not your mother tongue, I have the same problem. However, I think you should keep on writing, if the ideas behind a fic is good writing style isn't everything.

No! I agree with what everyone else said: you must write more! Remember the saying: practice makes perfect. So the more practice you get, the easier it will be (and the better you'll get at) expressing yourself in another language.

Plus, I just want to read more. :) Great job and a new fresh idea. I like it.
