rugbytackleHere is a more-or-less sad little Viggo/Sean drabble.
Viggo sits and sips his beer and watches Sean, but doesn't move to join him at the bar.
Viggo knows that whenever you allow yourself to love, there is always a piper, and the piper will always have to be paid. You never get to make a contract ahead of time and you never know what the bill is going to be, and sometimes you don't get to pay it yourself-- somebody else does. Somebody innocent, like Henry or Sean's girls. Or hell, even Sean himself.
When the bottle is empty, Viggo tips the waitress and leaves the bar, alone.

I like the way Viggo's thoughts suggest that he wouldn't have held back if he could have been sure he was the one going to pay.
Very noble. Damn method actor.
