FIC: Too late
Warnings: VERY VERY ANGSTY
Pairing: I'm not sure. You tell me.
Notes: I don't know why I wrote this. I'm not even depressed today, but there it was, and it had to come out.

My cell phone is turned off. I've unplugged all the other phones in the house. I will not answer questions for the scavengers or hear condolences because I do not deserve them.

I waited too long. I smiled and laughed and pretended until it was too late and your mother called and said you were gone with tears in her voice.

Your heart stopped.

Now so has mine.

I will not go to the services. If one photographer dared show his lens I'd be in jail and you would not want that.

I'll miss you. I suspect, not for long.

How can you break your reader's heart in so short a story?
Beautiful. And sad, so very sad.
I read it as Viggo pov, thinking about Orlando.
The last line hurt me.

Now I'm off to warm milk and cookies :-)

*hugs*

The sadness and lack of hope are all over your words. Very very angsty indeed, but beautifully rendered.

And for me it's Viggo thinking about Sean.

I'm thinking very very angsty is an understatement here. Extremely sad and that last line made me want to cry. Poor Sean (because that's the way I read it.).

Very angsty, and I read it as Sean thinking about Viggo. Maybe it's the hot-temperedness. (Is that a word?)

Oooh.. well you warned us at least! And for me, it's Vig thinking of Sean.

Very sad. Very beautiful.

Very sad, achy and heartbreaking, and a lovely drabble because of those very things. Such emotion, the loss is so very present, and in so few words...for me it's Viggo thinking of Sean (though I always say that Viggo's thinking of Sean *g*)

Thanks for sharing, :)

So sad and full of regret. The death is devastating, but the never having taken the chance of loving him is worse.
A beautiful piece of writing which I believed from the first sentence was Sean thinking about Viggo.
