• It seems fitting to post this last Clansmen piece on Hogmanay - generally thought to be a time of reflection on the past and anticipation of the future, especially as it's almost a year since I posted the first series. This part is sentimental, sad and schmoopy and definitely the last in the Clansmen arc. I know I've said this before, but this time I really, really mean it...


• For moldava, whose birthday it is today. It is also dedicated to milochka who has provided wonderful beta to the rest of the series - I decided to give her time off for good conduct this time! To you and all my friends, Slàinte... agus Bliadhna Mhath Ùr!

I had to come out of "hiding" for this. I have loved this series, and I have to thank you for sharing. Your talent is awe inspiring, and your words seem to come straight from your heart. The pictures just make a frustrated highlander long for a home they have never seen. Now excuse me while I go sob!! Peace to you in the new year.

Actually, I got to read all of this one before it became locked down, but the next set is the one I'm trying to get to... not that I'm only friending you to read your fic, but yeah, I am to a point :)

Not for the fb I should've left.... I'm a sucker for anything Celtic/Gaelic so of course this was a must read for me. As much as you have apparently completed this story, there are enough options for you to jump back in anytime. I'm looking forward to any further forays into past life V/S and the repercussions for current day.

My timing stinks (pc meltdown just before Christmas, then off on my holidays), my computer is better, festivities complete, back from Middle-Earth ... but live journal is down ... and then it's (sort of) back and I finally am able to look at my "the recc'ed to high heaven list" .... and I can't get in.
