I wish I could tell you something useful like the artist's name, but all I can really say is go look at this one, too.

Hey, may I ask: what is wedding fic? Was there a challenge or series going on at one time on LJ? I remember seeing something like that, but now I can't remember where I saw it all going on. Thanks!

There probably was, though I just meant in general -- I avoid fics with weddings, period. (I don't think there's any way to write vows for another couple -- people bring all their own expectations and cultures and values and religious beliefs in and it always ends up sounding Mary Sueish to me, no matter the characters or the fandom.)

Ahh.. I imagine it would be hard to pull off without coming off as trite. It seems needless to me, but perhaps that's because when it comes to fics I'm not a romantic. I think. No.. I think I'm romantic about smut. *grins*

I'm a total dork romantic but weddings are incredibly intimate and personal...I'm squickier about the way people write marriages than the way they write sex, for some reason!

Your site is one of the first I've ever visited and still a favorite, (may I add you to my FL?), maybe it's a favorite of this artist also? Maybe the artist will contact you? It would be nice for the artist to know how much we appreciate this art. ~lbl~
