I have re-edited my songvid to Melissa Etheridge's "The Different". For anyone who has downloaded and watched the original version, trust me, this one is much much better, and largely very different. For anyone who hasn't, please be aware that this isn't strictly Aragorn/Boromir. The first minute is, and then it moves on to Legolas/Gimli, Merry/Pippin and Frodo/Sam (though Boromir has this funny way of popping up again during the M/P bit). And I feel I should also note that this is not country. I didn't believe that it was Etheridge at all the first time I heard this song.

Let's see. I have a Dazzle, and I use that plus the companion software Movie*Star to capture. I also used to use Movie*Star to edit, but it was very temperamental and kind of had issues with the general editing process. Then I saved my pennies for almost a year and bought Broderbund's Movie Shop, and that's what I've been using for all the vids I've put together since February (with the re-edit of "Remember Me", so "Walking Wounded" was the last vid I put together with Movie*Star). For the time, Movie*Star was fine barring the various strange things the program did, and if somebody can't afford to spend the extra cash, I'd say it really wasn't all that bad. I also use WinAmp & CDex to create mp3s at 320kbps for better quality sound, and Helix Producer for my RMs and Windows Media Encoder for the WMV as my only real complaint with MovieShop is that it only creates super-high-quality, far-too-big-to-post files, or "what the hell kind of crap is this?" files. *shrug*

I really like this. It captures the relationships amongst all the members of the Fellowship so well. I especially like the Merry/Pippin section. (The Boromir clips in that bit don't hurt either.)
