OK, I've noticed this since the first time of viewing the death scene in the extended DVD.

Boromir told Aragorn "they took the little ones..." and so on, when the camera was focused on Boromir's face (when Sean's saying his lines), it was very obvious that his right hand was on Aragorn's left shoulder (then his hair :D). But when the camera was switched to focus on Aragorn (to capture his lines), Boromir's hand was not where it's supposed to be!

How come???

First respond: PJ, how could you make such a big mistake in editing!!
Second thought: PJ, you're a genius of understatement. Now I can't get my head round the thought of where is Boromir's missing hand. *g*

I've noticed that too, as I'm sure a lot of people have. I hate to say it, but that was a sloppy editing job. And it was so obvious because they kept cutting between Sean and Viggo so much. That would have looked so great if they had kept Sean's hand in his hair through the whole thing. But, then, I'm not even going to speculate where his hand was during Viggo's shoots! Maybe Viggo wasn't actually crying. Maybe his eyes were just watering from trying to keep a straight face. Whatever!

oh, am not complaining about the job done by PJ and his editing team. they had so many footage to go over each day after shooting.

ummm, just that iana_niniel's lovely drabble brought me back to the death scene and that silly question keep haunting in my mind....and became somewhat like a bonus in time :)
