Newbie here...I hope I do everything right.... At least I managed to make it a real drabble with exactly 100 words. ;-)

In response of nevanoon's pic challenge, posted here. A bit angsty, maybe, but that's it. Comments are welcome.

WORK OF ART

He kept his gaze fixed on the floor, never even glancing to the painting on his right. Even though he felt it was his greatest work to date, he could not bear to look at it, and kept it in the second kitchen so that as few people as possible would know of its existence, let alone see it.

Viggo had never intended to keep the painting for himself. More than anything, he wanted to give it to Sean, but he was too afraid to do it; afraid of rejection, of ridicule, of…finding out that the love was not two-sided.

Oh, this is wonderful--and congrats on getting it exactly 100 words! It's a complete story in and of itself, and so perfect... of course, now I want to know what happens! Does Viggo ever give the painting to Sean? Does Sean find it, perhaps by accident? Tell! Tell!
