On Jan 4th my friend lent me 35 S/V fanfic books she purchased at the latest Comiket, the biggest annual fanzine-selling event in Japan. While I was busy in reading those books for last 3 days, getting to sleep I expected to have a dream of something involving with S/V. However who visited my dream was not S/V but Jude Law wearing a high-tech helmet which let him fly... What a silly dream, why Jude Law, if only it was Viggo or Sean. *sigh*
Well well, today I'm going to post the third pic from the Moonlight series and tell you what like the Moonlight series is.

Characters: Sean is a human, Viggo is a werewolf
Inspired by the S/V AU fanfic Moonlight series, following this.
If you are OK with very comic deformed, too feminine Viggo and Sean, please come in.
Once Viggo attaches to Sean, he always prefers to stick around with him, like a devoted dog.

Coloured version:

Very brief summary of the Moonlight series:
Viggo is a very cautious werewolf who's lost his herd since his parents were killed by human when he was a child. He lives alone with his son in lonesome place far from towns.
One full moon night he is caught by a trap and gets heavy injury in his wolf form. While he is struggling against the trap, Sean finds him and sets him free. When Sean tries to carry him, the wounded wolf, the moon hides and he turns into human form. It makes Sean surprised but he doesn't afraid what Viggo is and takes care of him until his wound heals.
Gradually Viggo opens his mind to Sean and he starts learning how to communicate with people, believe and love somebody. Finally they get together but it takes a bit long time, and various episodes, such as what werewolves are or where Viggo is from, add complication to the story.

Date: 2006-01-09 04:48 am (UTC)So you often visited Comikets while you were in Japan, did you? That's good, even living in Japan I visited Comiket only once long years ago when I was no interested in fanfics or RPS. Tokyo or Osaka is too far from my place. I don't often buy Dojinshi by myself, so I'm lucky to have a friend who shares the same taste in S/V fanfics with me.
I love S/V AU fanfics too, and I 100% second you that Odysseus/PeneMOpe *lol* and Sean/Tex are very interesting and lovely motifs. We are maybe fan of the same S/V authors, but I avoid picking up their names here 'cause you know, they tend not to come out of the closet to maintain their online activities in safe.
And yes, we are some comic events involving with S/V during Jan through Feb this year. We had Comic City Osaka yesterday, Jan. 8th, and coming Jan. 29th we have Comic City Tokyo. Then Movie Paradise 4 on Feb 5th, and 髭王 Bearded-King featuring human royalty characters in LOTR on Feb 26th. I didn't/won't join none of them but I'm planing to buy some S/V fanfic books via mail order.

Date: 2006-01-09 08:47 am (UTC)I'm really sorry that I referred one of the site's name in my last post m(_ _)m I've deleted my comment and re-post the most part of it after this. I know most time those webmistresses don't like people talk about their sites in public, I'm just feel so sorry that I thought coz here's a SV community, and I was too excited to read about the story you described, so... Anyway, I'm truly sorry for that!

Love your pictures.
Cute devoted Viggy puppy ~>_<~
Thank you for sharing *hugs*
And *envious*.....
To be honest, I really fancy your Japanese' SV Doujinshi >_<
But it's a pity that I've never had an opportunity to attend the summer/winter comic event or even the SV special event (it seems that there'll be one during the Feb). And the most awful thing is that my friend who was studying in Japan has been back home, so now I can only drool at the new books by my favourite Doujinshi authors through my laptop's screen *cry*
BTW, I think the setting of Odysseus X Penemope and Sean X Tex by some Doujinshi authors are really AMAZING *_*

And it's a pity that I've never been Japan, usually my friend who was studying there helped me to buy the doujinshi via mail (It's a problem that almost all the sites don't send their doujinshi abroad T_T) I hope one day I can attend those events by myself.
BTW, I'm glad to hear that you said we might be the fan of the same S/V author, does that mean you also a fan of 藻受? *LOL* (I think you might be, coz your pictures' style and the story you described *grin*)
But I'll be very very sorry for this rude question if you're not ^^b

Date: 2006-01-09 10:56 am (UTC)As to the top/bottom subject, I'm glad you shared your idea with me :) I'm the type that a bit tend to fix the sexual role, but I don't mean that Sean should be dominant. In contrast, I think Viggo sometimes is more uncontrollable, but why he will be the bottom is because he wants to. I know that sounds a bit silly, but usually, Viggo is the kind that makes me think about even he is dominant in the relationship, he would prefer to be the bottom and let himself be loved by Sean.

Date: 2006-01-09 12:45 pm (UTC)We seem to share the idea in some aspects of what person Viggo is in S/V fantasy: in slash stories I like to read the power game of love between male. I never hold fast with my ideal style of Viggo as a character, and actually I do love and enjoy any type of Viggo as long as he is paried with Sean. What I prefer not to is that Sean or Viggo acts as a woman or too much feminine in their relations, however, it could be a small matter if the harmony of story and characteristics of both guys come along well.
