Summary: Viggo’s world is turned upside down by a green eyed stranger.
Disclaimer: Nothing like this happened, It's all in my head!
The look in those eyes was so terrifying that Viggo found himself stepping backwards. It was a young man, more or less his age and he would be good looking if his glare wasn’t so frightening.
“You’ve got any rope here, Viggo-o-o?”
“Are you planning to tie me up?
“I am not planning to hang myself, so yes, probably.”
””Please don’t do that to me.”
”It’s either that or I’ll shoot your kneecap. You pick. I can’t have you running away and alarming those officers outside.”
“What do you want from me?”
”Relax, I’ll be here a few hours and then I’ll be gone. I want to leave just as bad as you want me to, believe me! Now where is that rope?”
“I don’t have any.”
”Ties then.”
”I don’t wear ties.”
“Are you trying to be clever with me? Come on, let me see your clothes, I hope for your sake there aren’t any ties.”
Reluctantly Viggo showed him the closet in his bedroom, the gun still pointing at his head.
With his left arm the man managed to throw the content of the top shelf on the floor and Viggo felt his heart skip a beat. On top of his best blue sweater were the handcuffs he sometimes used for fun.
“You must be a real bad fuck, that you have to tie them down, man!”
He examined the cuffs and was clearly satisfied.
“Back to the room now!”
He took one of the chairs and pulled it next to wall, cuffing Viggo to the pipe of the heating system and planting him on the chair.
“Now we’ll wait till five, I make a phone call and I am out of here.”
He made himself comfortable on the couch.
Viggo’s felt his mind spinning, He could only hope this guy, Sean, would do what he said and leave after he made his call. In the mean while he must study him carefully, so he could describe him to the cops later. But why did he tell him his name? That seemed rather stupid and this guy didn’t look stupid.
His question was answered almost immediately when Sean switched on the television. There he was, full screen. A black and white picture of him, hair slightly longer but the same menacing look in his eyes.
Big printed it read: Sean Miller, IRA terrorist.
The picture disappeared and a reporter took over, standing on the avenue Viggo just came from. His voice agitated he almost shouted his words, trying to be heard over the voices of at least three other reporters.
“Sean Miller, a well known IRA terrorist, managed to escape a month ago from one of the most secured prisons in England. He was in prison for attempted murder on a member of the government. This planned assassination was prevented by one of our fellow Americans, Jack Ryan, a former CIA agent. Sean Miller’s younger brother was killed during the events.
This morning Miller managed to break into the Ryan’s residence and killed Jack Ryan.
His presence in the house was taped by the security camera’s. Only an hour ago a policeman spotted him on Walnut Avenue, but he managed to escape. The police is all over the streets and are determined to find him.”
As Sean switched of the television, Viggo sank back in the chair.
I am stuck with a bloody maniac!
Sean turned around on the couch, looking at him.
“So Viggo, now you know who you’re dealing with! But as I said, when I made my call I won’t be long, so don’t sweat.”
Well he was sweating, glancing at the clock now and then, The sooner that mad freak was out of here the better. He wasn’t sweating at all: he looked like he had the whole thing under control.
“So Viggo, tell me, what do you do for a living?”
Viggo didn’t feel like answering, but was definitely not going to piss this guy off.
“Actor.”
“So what have you played in.”
“Haven’t played in anything yet, I only just got here. I am a waiter for now.”
”Ah, the Hollywood dream. Does Mummy still send you food and clothes, so you can play the starving young actor here?”
Viggo felt flushed with anger, forgetting his fear for a moment.
“I guess it’s easy to humiliate people when you’re the one holding a gun.”
”It’s not just easy, it feels great! You see, we all must do what we’re best in. Now it’s five, so I’ll make that call, then I’ll go away and you can dry your tears.”
He walked to the phone and dialled a number.
After a whispered conversation he turned around, looking at Viggo again.
“Bad news I am afraid. I will have to stay here for three days, before they can smuggle me out of the country. You’re stuck with me. ”
