Just like Bijouatweb I am lost for words. It's simply wonderful and there's not much more to add. I am absolutely not known in this world of dom/sub, but I am learning quickly.
I can't help being grateful for the more relaxed ending, I am still a bit wrestling with Sean's total submission.

Thank you, govi. Helena and I both needed the hopeful ending, too. Usually, I don´t write Sean like this - I see him more defiant and proud, like he is in "LiA". This was more about exploring Viggo´s self-doubts first, the ambiguity of "being master" but "feeling weak" inside... and then we explored the whole dynamic more and more... I think we came up at least with some interesting thoughts; but, I said it to mooms already, now I need a nice little piece of humour again.

yes, like she said, i think it took a lot out of us...
thanks for your comments. i too did not know anything much about how bdsm could be or should possibly be when i started reading slash. it has taught me a lot, too. i, like you, get a bit edgy with sean that far under... which is why we brought him 'up' again. i can't just have one or the other (or both) have a permanant role... i need variety. ok, i'm talking in circles a bit... but just let me say, rest assured, i felt like you in many ways about this story.
