Sorry, folks - the pic is just there to get your attention!!!

I've been thinking about changing the layout for the community for a little while now. karelian set the comm up just over three years ago now and I most certainly don't want to offend her in suggesting it might be time for a change. After talking about it with moldava this morning, I wondered what all of you thought about it a possible change to the look. If folk like it the way it is, then fine. If folk would like to see a change, then that's fine too - all I want is a yes or no; and a majority view! I know it would be more simple if I did a poll for this, but the account is a free one so I can't do that ;) I realise this is hardly a big issue in the wider scheme of things, but please comment if you have strong views either way!

I mean, it's not like I was going to suggest it or anything, but a change might be nice?

Oh sweetie, doesn't matter if rugbytackle is a free account, as long as the person (you) making the entry has a paid account, you can still put a poll in.

You already know that I adore your layouts, so I trust you. I'm just happy that you are taking such good care of this comm, because it was my very first and it was the one that got me into LJ. (And karelian!)

I only have one thing to add to what we said this morning, and that is that if you do decide to do a new layout for the comm, I would be most glad to get it a paid account to give you more graphic options.
RT has given me a lot in terms of happy moments reading lovely stories and great friendship from wonderful people, so I would love to give it something in return

You're wonderful, I echo your sentiment but I had already decided to do just that - and have now done so :) *hugs* I also noticed that you had paid up for witches_kitchen which I was going to do this time!! I will give some thought to what I might do with the RT layout over the next few days *rubs hands*

Sir Hiss! *loves loves loves* Thanks to you, I'm downloading the movie right now. It's been years since I last saw it... too many years.

I'm much the same as you, getting along and wishing I could work less. *g* But I'm actually quite thankful for the heavy workload at the moment, because I need the money. And, frankly, the diversion -- my beloved kitty died just after New Year's, wah. I'm okay now, but I was quite depressed for awhile there, and it didn't help that we had rain & storms & grey skies for literally six weeks straight. I'm very very glad it's spring now. :-)

I say go for it, with the caveat that it be an easy to read style. So many comms end up being something the mod thinks is pretty without thinking about how functional it is.
