“Damn it!” Aragorn twitched and the length of silk slid from around his arm again to pool on the floor.
“Sire, if you could stay still…” the sculptor stopped drawing and sent his apprentice scurrying forward but Boromir, lounging by the wall, was quicker. He collected the fall of ruby silk and twined it about the King, arranging the drapery in graceful folds that hid his manhood, just, murmuring,
“You want to be immortalised as a new Argonath don’t you, my King?”
“It’s absurd…and the Argonath are clothed! In full armour! And what are you doing here?”
“As Captain-General of your bodyguard…”
Aragorn snorted and Boromir sighed, laying one hand on the pommel of his sword, with a long-suffering air.
He returned to his perch on the window-ledge and picked up his mug. The sculptor returned to his sketches, occasionally darting forward to take a measurement and jot down the results. Boromir went to drink and his elbow nudged the shutter open a little further.
“It’s cold! There’s a draft in here…”
Boromir gazed over the rim of his mug at Aragorn’s crisping chest hair and pert nipples, whilst the King’s narrowing eyes promised that his revenge would be sweet.

Date: 2006-04-28 10:58 pm (UTC)Anyway I liked the idea of Elisa's figure two hundred feet high, although now you come to mention it, two figures, suitably conjoined, could easily constitute a bridge - just what the improved Anduin public highways system could do with.

Date: 2006-04-29 12:38 am (UTC)Boromir's no fool...he knows beautiful art when he sees it. Why cover up too much?

Date: 2006-04-29 07:07 am (UTC)Elisa's original figure doesn't display genitalia - this is the primary reason
There's a certain absurd incongruity between official Gondor having decided it wanted to turn Aragorn into a new Argonath but then deciding to do it like this, rather than as a clothed warrior - and
the final "just" between the commas is supposed to convey the power that Boromir has to hide or reveal as he drapes, also by implication that Aragorn is so well-endowed that hiding it isn't easy, and Boromir's pleasure at the his personal knowledge of what's underneath...
And there are just times when less is more.
But it's undeniably tempting.

Date: 2006-04-29 12:27 pm (UTC)aragorn in a silk drapery, posing for the arganoth?? *snort* that is too funny.
liked this line as well: ...Boromir sighed, laying one hand on the pommel of his sword, with a long-suffering air.

Date: 2006-04-29 05:50 pm (UTC)He's nicely sly here, teasing Aragorn when he has no recourse, at the moment. We all know he'll pay for it deliciously later.

There's a slightly convoluted way in (you need to be very literal in following the instructions)and the manip is in the LOTR Series Gallery 1 as the first in The Storm Series.
