VigBean rough doodle
May. 7th, 2006 12:18 amAn old VigBean rough doodle!
Title: VigBean, fanart
Pairing: VM/SB
Rating: R
Note: My first "making it" VigBean! Hope you like it...
Warning: If comic-deformed VigBean bothers you, please don't go ahead.
After drawing I gave it to a VigBean writer friend of mine and she created a quite hot drabble titled "passions" (in Japanese) for it and that pleased me a lot. Since it was a very rough pencil sketch, you can see wandering lines here and there. :P

*Please do not take and use any images of my artworks and fanfictions without my permission for any purpose, and feel free to ask me about that. Please do not hotlink. I appreciate your understanding.

Date: 2006-05-07 12:15 pm (UTC)Good point of sketching is that you can see intuitive, rough but vigorous lines in the drawing, I think. Besides, when I draw this picture I had no idea of showing my drawing(s) on the Net until my friend happened to like it and open it on her VigBean site with her drabble. Thus the picture was drawn freely, without caring how people look it, and that's why this VigBean looks dynamic, I suppose.
BTW I love your new icon very much! I love sculptures themed classic myths.

Date: 2006-05-07 12:34 pm (UTC)BTW I've read Running fast at Nevanoon's LJ and I love the ficlet very much! I left a brief comment on her page, but in case you didn't read it I mentioned about that here.

Date: 2006-05-07 01:23 pm (UTC)My 16 & 18 yr old daughters are big time into anime and are always drawing characters for me to go with the stories they write. My 18 yr old is studying animation & gaming with a minor in comp programming and she is so in love with all things Japanese. Eventually she wants to go to Japan. :)

Date: 2006-05-07 02:49 pm (UTC)I understand what you mean: pictures I can finish in good shape always come out already drawn - the only problem is to "copy" the lines in my head on the paper is not easy to me for my drawing skill. My lines taken by first inspiration are sometimes more alive than polished, re-and-redrawn lines which are often dead for its carefully selected lines. *sigh*
Running fast is a very visible, film-like ficlet to me, a person of watching fanfic/novels rather than reading them. Do you write other VigBean fanfic?
What animation do your daughters prefer? I used to draw slash fanart for certain animations for my friends. Good memories of young days. *G* Hope your elder daughters dream comes true!

Date: 2006-05-07 06:00 pm (UTC)Nana, I friended you here (http://ladybluelove.livejournal.com/profile) and here (http://blueslashicons.livejournal.com/profile) that's where you'll find my stuff. You'll notice how my writing has changed from when I first started, hopefully better. Also my comms have some great writers posting there too if you'd care to join them. :)
I used to post around but I stopped after a few rude people jumped on me for minor posting things that they could have easily told me in a positive way.

Oh that's good, then your daughters have a good interest in animation which they can public "I love this!" I started reading slash fanfics for comic-based animations when I was in junior high, my friends recommended them to me, and since then reading or drawing slash things is my big secret hobby. :P
