PSA: Rugbytackling Archive Site

Hi everyone! Just a short ex-mod post *g* to let you know what's happening with the fic archive site.

As you've probably noticed, the archive hasn't been updated in ages. It was my baby, and even though I've left the "nest" of the fandom, I'd love to see the site continue to be a part of the VigBean community.

Therefore, at the end of May, the archive will have new ownership! The lovely govi20 will be taking over the site. It will have the same format and categories and search options, etc; only the submission guidelines and contact information will be changing. (And please note that while the site is being moved to its new home, there may be a few days of downtime.)

If you have any questions, or if you're an author on RT and don't want your fics to be moved to the new site, please comment on this post or contact me by email: milochka AT rugbytackling DOT com. Thanks.

I've loved running the archive over the years, and I'm very sorry I wasn't able to keep it updated as often as it deserved. Hopefully that will no longer be an issue. *g* Big thanks to all the authors who contributed their stories, and to the hundreds (yes, hundreds!) of visitors each month who read those stories... without all of you, there wouldn't have been an archive to speak of.

Awww, it will sadden me to see you go as webmistress of "our" website. I always considered you as one of the mothers of our niche in the LotRRPS fandom but as long as you'll still be around ;) *smooches*

Awww, Jenna... thanks so much. *hugs* It's sad to give up my "baby" but it's the best thing for the community. I should have done it months ago, to be honest.

I wish I'd been in the fandom early enough to be considered one of its parents! I wasn't, sadly. But I'll settle for "wise old auntie" if you wish. ;-)

I don't write anymore but I still hang on to the fringes of the fandom reading whatever is chugged out of the comm so I'm not exactly one to speak, lol

Wise old auntie will do fine ;) Doesn't necessarily have to be old unless you insist though *g*
