rugbytackleJust the briefest of notes to let you know that I am standing down as mod for the comm. Unfortunately, fallout following the recent yahoo group issue has reminded me that sometimes even this fandom is not a pleasant place to be, no matter how much I want it to be otherwise. Furthermore, as I have decided that I will no longer be posting any fics publicly, to remain as moderator of ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)

Date: 2006-09-23 10:16 am (UTC)I'm so sorry to hear that you've been getting grief over the yahoo group - I can sympathise somewhat having just gone through a totally horrible episode with a forum I've been involved with for ages where it became quite apparant that voicing concerns about the direction it was going - because I actually cared about the place - was totally the wrong thing to do and was only to result in some pretty vicious behaviour on the part of people I truly counted as my friends. Hence a major flist cut!
Chuffed that you're still going to be writing. There are a very few writers whose work I don't think I could survive without, and you're right up there with brigantine.
