VigBean 2 !

I received my copy of VigBean 2 ! Let me all tell you how I feel about it... well : I am thrilled !!
First of all : thanks and big hugs to [Bad username or unknown identity: rotpunkt who made this all happen with the help of [info]nevanoon]

The book looks gorgeous, in the first place the cover design which is stunning. Designed by rotpunkt's lovely daughter Lily. I am sure your Mum will let you know how I feel about it dear ! Absolutely fabulous. I love the colours and how many indications and hints there are made in the design : though even only recognizable for us VigBean lovers.

Of course I haven't read much of it, I spend a very nice hour and a half yesterday night in bed though, with reading glasses and a glass of brandy, just looking at it. A lot of fics, from really gifted writers and I am so proud to be a small part of that. Like a slashy sisterhood. Thank you all for that !

Then there are those wonderful graphics and manips, real artwork from so many talented women. Beautiful and well chosen. A lust to my sinful eye !

Once again it made me aware of how much the "discovery" of slash in general, but VigBean especially has made a change in my life. I was 47 year and never even knew there were women writing slash, didn't even know it existed. By chance I stumbled on the Rugbytackling Archive and I started reading. Never stopped and started writing myself, which I never done before.

It's great to have this treasure of wonderful fics and artwork now, from women common like me, intellectual women, arty women, beautiful women, young and old from I believe 16 countries all over world. Isn't that something ?

Ok Govi how do I get one? and how do I get hold of the first one if possible. Somehow I went from a Viggo/OFC to Viggo/Orli fan than read a story with Vig/Bean and haven't stopped yet. And I thank you for stumbling into this, your stories always make my day and would love to be able to read this VigBean 2 and 1 PLEASEEE

Dear govi, I'm very very happy that you like the book and I'm proud that we could win you and so many other great writers and artists for the book! Even though I know all the stories that are in it now, I still re-read them with much pleasure and I love the pics; some are funny and make me smile and some are hot and make me... ehem.... what I wanted to say was: I hope with all our shared efforts we will have a large VigBean encyclopedia in the end, with 20 or so fat volumes...;)!
