Snow, white and shiny under a horizon draped in stars. Enwrought with golden and silver light, dim in the shadows of night and light and the half-light.
A swing moved quietly, back and forth, again and again.
Soft breathing rushed like ghosts through the chill of the parting day.
A soft blanket now glazed with frost failed miserable in its attempt to feed the hunger for warmth.
Shivers, running in a wild reign over skin smooth to the touch.
Dreams misty and fragile built a bridge between two worlds apart.
Security is left behind to fall for longing. Blue eyed, sandy haired, manly longing, who finally approached with careful steps.
Deep sighs, honest and happy. A touch, a kiss, one moment to live for.
Vig was home.
