Based on this picture:

It Just Happened
It just happened that way. I had no idea that what he felt for me was more than mere friendship. Well, I say ‘mere’, although it was anything but that. The things we shared with each other delved deeper than anything I had known before, but he never ventured beyond, never attempted anything more, never crossed the invisible line, until . . .
The sad news day. When there were tears that I couldn’t control. Everyone else avoided me, embarrassed, hesitant, uncomfortable, whatever. I was a little mortified, but eventually brought myself under control. Then he just took my hand . . . and my breath away.
~End~

Date: 2007-05-21 10:47 pm (UTC)You always find the true meaning behind their actions as I've tried to express it; and for that I'm very grateful.
"Evocation" is a wonderful word to read, as that's really all you can do within the limitations (word count, not expressions!) of a Drabble.
Thank you so much.
