[identity profile] foxrafer.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] rugbytackle
A version of this was written for [livejournal.com profile] angiepen in the [livejournal.com profile] slashababy fic exchange. I found myself heading toward a story with character death and turned it into a happy ending. But I believe the entire piece would have hung together much better if it continued along to the horribly depressing conclusion. I completely understand if you pass this one by (on any other day I'd be right there with you *g*). And I'm sure the writing gets fuzzier as this goes along because I had the most terrible time writing this. I will not be writing this kind of story again. :-) If you'd prefer to read the version with a happy ending, you can find it here.

this was one of the saddest stories i have read. i know this is fiction but character death of a real person is very depressing. this was especially sad to me since i had just lost my brother when this was posted' please keep with the happy endings. like the 1st one was written

my goodness! i can't imagine why you chose to read this fic after the warning was so clearly made. i'm also surprised that you chose to comment both here and at foxrafer's journal.

you have my condolences on your loss. at the same time, [livejournal.com profile] foxrafer has my admiration for being brave enough to to go through the wrenching process she did in order to be true to this story.
