Mending Things Not Broken
I started out on this journey without knowledge but full of needs. And the turmoil of my life, the dissatisfaction of my mind were all because I was trying to meet those needs with the wrong things, the wrong people, in the wrong places.
Then I met you. And I was saved from trying always to mend things that were not broken. My hand was held as we slowly discovered it better to walk in a straight line along life’s avenues until we reach the gate at the end, waiting to be opened, that we share a brighter life - - together.
~End~

Date: 2008-08-18 06:40 am (UTC)That's one of the best lines I've ever read. It grabs your attention and if you try to brush past, simply bends your mind round til it faces it and takes a good long look.
Thank you.
